31 July 2010 - Good Bye...Until Our Next Adventure

This will be our last blog entry as "Aussiemartinboysinusa". Now that we are back in School in Australia we will have other assignments and homework. Time to get back into a routine.

We had a lot of fun putting up comments and pictures about our trip. We learned heaps about blogging and we had fun interacting with friends and family both in person and via the internet. Who knows, this blog could possibly attract more than 500hits by the time everyone has one last look.  Special thanks to Uncle Roger and Grandma Martin who were very loyal blog followers!

We can't wait to show our classmates in Australia our pictures and give them a chance to meet our very exciting family and the friends that also got a mention in our blog.

So until our next adventure - Cheers Mate, Isaac and Evan!

As the Terminator says.... "We'll Be Back!"

31 July 2010 - Can You Say... Jet Lag!

Well it is 5am on the 31st of July and our family is all wide awake.... or at least I should say we are awake. We were so proud of ourselves. We were able to stay awake until 7pm last night which is a big accomplishment. Ruby is doing fine - no jet lag at all for her but we need a day or two until we get used to the new time zone.

30 July 2010 - Ruby!!!!

We finally made it back to Canberra!! What a trip.  Lucky for us, our friend Steven Williams went to the airport to pick us up. We were a bit sad to leave the USA and say goodbye to friends and family but we were very excited to see Ruby our dog.  Eric has been taking care of our place while we were gone and the house and Ruby look like they are in great shape. We don't know dog language but we are pretty sure Ruby said - "I am so happy to see you again! Pet me, pet me, pet me".  But all we heard was arfff, arfff, whooff, arff, rrrrrmmmmff.

30 July 2010 - More Fireworks Pics

Here are some more pictures from the 4th of July. We are still not sure about the rules in Wyoming but whether it was legal or not we had a lot of fun playing with smoke bombs and other fireworks. No one got hurt which is the main thing and we all felt safe because we were with our Uncle Kenny and he is an "explosives expert" - what could possibly go wrong?

30 July 2010 - More Memories, PB Pool

These pics are definately worth posting as we spent many a day at the Pine Bluff swimming pool which is right beside Grandma Lang's house. This was a big day of diving and we had heaps of fun! For those interested you can just see Grandma Lang's house in the background of some of these pictures. Funny to think Mom and all her sisters and brothers would have been swimming in this pool when they were our age.

30 July 2010 - Memories of Rock Climbing

We have been looking through some of the great pictures mom took of us during our trip to the US and realised that we never posted any of the pictures that were taken at the Gillette Rec Centre. These pics show us climbing on the inside "devil's tower". Thanks to our cousin Alex for belaying us and giving us helpful advice.
