This is the first time we have ever had a blog.
Who is "we" you ask? We is the Martin Family and we are on a family holiday. The family includeds David Martin (dad), Mary Kay Martin (mom), Isaac Martin (oldest boy) and Evan Martin (youngest boy). This Blog is a chance for us to post comments and pictures and odds and ends during our family vacation so that those interested can follow our progress.
The Journey all started on the 22nd of June when Mary, Isaac and Evan flew from Canberra Australia to Sydney and then on to Los Angeles and finally Denver Colorado. Although this was a long trip we were more than prepared because we have been doing this journey as a family every other year for the last 10 years. We are no strangers to the USA - infact Mary Kay grew up in Wyoming. Where is Dad you ask? Well, Dad had business to attend to in Italy and Turkey so he flew out a couple days before us and then arrived yesterday so that we can all be together for the final part of our family holiday.
We are currently staying with Mary's sister Chris (dad's sister-in-law and our Aunt). We have the entire basement of their home to ourselves and at night it is cool and very dark which means we are getting some very good sleep! Ok... time to post this blog and see if this is going to work. If all goes well we will be posting updates daily. Catch you later - the Martins.
