Our first morning in Salt Lake City and the weather continued to be fantastic! We drove over to link up with Dad's friend who's name is Dr. Jim Martin. Dad and Jim both love cycling and research and work together on projects. Jim and his wife Susanne and their two girls Jen and Molly took us on a hike up to Dogleg lake. It was a very pretty walk and there were tons of wildflowers. Jim's dog, Lucy, loved the walk and ended up doing quite a bit of swimming once we arrived at the lake. After the walk we drove to Grandma's house in Pinebluffs Wyoming. So we are now right back to where we started. Not long now and we will be flying back to Australia.

ReplyDeleteThat long website address links to a picture of the blazing star. It is a big "showy" wildflower that is now blooming on Pilot Butte. I think of you as I walk the Butte and see these popping out all over.
Looks like you saw a LOT of wildflowers in Utah.
Have some good flights home!
Love to all,
Grandma Jinny
Thanks Grandma! We think of you when we see Wildflowers as well.
