We arrived in Bend Oregon last night around 5pm. It was fun driving into town and seeing all the
volcanos that make up the Central Cascade Range. As we drove into Bend we could see
Mt. Bachelor,
Broken Top,
The Three Sisters, Mt Washington, Three Finger Jack and
Mt. Jefferson. When my dad was a kid he climbed all of these mountains. We are staying at my Uncle Eric and Aunt Laurie's house. Our cousin Alex has been very nice and allowed us to take over his room. We will have a day in Bend and then we are up to Elk Lake for some fun up in the mountains. It has been great catching up with everyone - seems like it has been a while since we have all been together.
