While soccer was the game that captivated our imagination in Wyoming, ultimate frisbee became the first game we tried out as a group of cousins in Bend Oregon. Four our first encounter the team "banana" took on team "AIZacla" which is everyone's name put together or something like that. Isaac, Zach, Alex and Micaela took on Dad, Jasmine, Derek and Evan. A good game all around highlighted by some pretty spectacular catches by Evan and Derek. The game was pretty close (hey who's keeping score) and all was going well until Derek developed a slight stomach ache. Zach had some great catches in the end zone and Alex and Michaela were on fire with their defence. The evening in Bend Oregon was spectacular - very warm and nice. We finished the night off with some come cooked Lasagna and an evening telling jokes. Looking forward to the next game of Ultimate Frisbee. Thanks to Adam Berry for teaching us the rules of the game!
